The circuitry lead me here

The foliage was thick. It is later in the afternoon, but the ground got an early start and is already slumbering. It is still. The flood plain has left this place barren save for fallen branches and empty bottles. I spot a half-smoked cigarrete next to "JOEY" written in the wet sand next to the river. The dredging barge sits quietly anchored midstream; mid-thought. Silently contemplating the rush-hour traffic that hums incessantly not too far off, but here, it is quiet, lonely and peaceful. Earlier that that, as I slowly rode my bike through the wooded path, I noticed a slightly irritating ringing in my ears.
