my first bike tripp. i learned stuff, saw stuff, and did stuff. heres some of that stuff.
i learned what to bring, what not to bring, what to bring more and/or less of.
i rode my Kona Ute cargobike. first and foremost, i only have one pannier (saddlebag) to parking my bike was often a challenge. to add more storage space i had my double milk crate (i.e. two milk crates with one end sawed off and zip-tied together) and my backpack.
i wasnt entirely sure where i wanted to go, so i decided the night before that Duluth, Mn would be my destination. since I had never been to stillwater, Mn. I decided that would be a scenic destination on my way up. I would be taking the gateway trail starting in st. paul there. other than that, my plans were up in the air.
